How to use Crop PDF
- Upload a PDF and select the crop unit: percentage or absolute points.
- Choose uniform margins (same on all sides) or per-side values for precise control.
- Optionally narrow the crop to specific page ranges instead of all pages.
- Click Crop pages and review the result summary for pages affected.
- Download the cropped PDF and check that no important content was trimmed.
Tips
- Start with a small uniform percentage like 5-10% to test before aggressive cropping.
- Use per-side mode when documents have uneven margins, such as bound or scanned materials.
- Combine cropping with page numbers afterward to re-add consistent footer numbering.
- If quota is reached, wait for month reset or upgrade for unlimited usage.
What this does not protect
- Cropping sets the CropBox but does not permanently remove content outside the visible area.
- Extremely aggressive margins may hide important text or graphics near page edges.
- It does not replace legal, compliance, or incident-response workflows.
