What does Compress PDF change?

It rebuilds structure and object streams to reduce file size where possible.

What this does not protect

• Compression may be minimal on already optimized files.
• It is not a substitute for OCR cleanup on image-heavy scans.
• It cannot fix compromised devices, accounts, or unsafe sharing channels.
